Realization 3: I need to stop relying on the GPS and learn my way around Boston.
Tonight my friends and I went to Boston for a Girls Night Out event. We were kind of rushing (long story as to why) so I plugged in my GPS and we were off. Well all of a sudden the GPS dies even though it's plugged in...weird. So I have my trusty passenger check it out and turns out part of the adapter/charger is missing and that's why it wasn't working. Well she found what we thought could be the piece and screwed it on and pulgged it in the cigarette lighter and pop! My lighter, radio and clock all went kapucts. Yes it is possible to blow a fuse while going 75 on the pike without killing all 4 people in the car. So we are running late, anxious to get to the event and now we don't have a clear idea on where to go. Well after driving around Boston for a half hour so close to our destination but yet so far we finally make it there in one piece and end up not having to pay for parking! What makes it even funnier is the fact that I have owned my car for about 4 months now and I just got my radio put in 2 weeks ago ( I bought it without one don't ask me why) ...and now although just a simple fuse to fix I am radio less yet again.
Moral of the story is Boston is a small compact city and I have lived in MA all my life there is no reason why I should not know my way around. Time for some experimenting!!

Hot Sauce
Realization 2: Taste Buds do change.
When I was little I used to be a veryyy picky eater. My mom used to have to strain the salsa for me and peel the skin off skinless hot dogs. I am what you call a texture girl. It may not be the taste I dislike but I just don't like the way some things feel.
My eating has changed a lot since I was little and 5 years of college and a nutrition degree later I still have a growing obsession with food. I never really took a liking to spicey things until I got dragged to a local bar for wings and pizza one night! Today I added Frank's hot sauce to my BLT and its amazinggggg.
Now I like hot sauce, never thought this day would come.

Roommates
Realization 1: My roommates really love me, and I am so lucky to have them.
I have always been lucky this the roommate situation. Since college I have had 11 roommates. You may be asking youself ...how is that lucky? Well I have had 11 because of different housing situations and life changes etc, but that's besides the point. My current living situation is living with 3 boys. I love living with boys. Although sometimes we don't see eye to eye on certain things our compatability is like "Friends" (which is DVR'd in our house 24/7)
I have been living here for 2 months and have been friends with the boys for a little over a year. There have been many countless instances for this realization however today tops the cake. My roommate (who I have actually known for longer than the others), his girlfriend and I went to Boston for a club night. Coming home at 3am we crashed in our beds and off to dreamland or so I thought.... We have a slight mouse problem and my 10 dollar traps are not working and I hear the mouse in my room almost every night. We live in what you would call a college bachelor pad so it's not super clean per say but it gets a scrub down from the maid service once a month! Anyways I keep my food in my room in a plastic 3 drawer thing and each night I can hear scurrying and out comes the flashlight then the overhead light and the noise stops...sometimes. Mice are cute if they are in the woods or a cage not in the house gross and unsanitary and just creepy. Well this morning (its 4am) I heard it and I saw the mouse in the drawer eating a hole through my brand new chip bag. I promptly left the room and put on the tv in the living room. My roommate who apparently was still up came out and asked what's up. I said I saw the mouse and he proceeded to get sneakers on, grab the swiffer and search my room for the mouse. It was clearly gone after all the commotion and I took the food drawer thing out of my room for good. Thinking mutual friends who party at our house might want to dip into my food is the reason it was in my room in the first place... who knew I had an unwanted party guest dipping into the goods.
So in conclusion my roommate is awesome ....maybe I'll have more stories about the other two.

First Post
In my 23 years, I like to think I have lived a full life so far. I, as most people, am constantly thinking. I think about the past, future and sometimes even the present. I want to catalog my realizations to allow others to see what goes on inside my crazy head, how I view the world, how I think the world should be or could be, how I think people should act and not act.
I never liked to write the introductory paragraph so this is where I stop.
